*** Return to live music  ***

We  are delighted to be getting back to singing in front of live audiences again, and have a busy few months ahead, with concerts in May and July.  Our most recent concert was on 27th May at St Cuthbert's Church in Carlisle.  Our next two are on Friday 15th and Sunday 17th July in Brampton and Alston respectively.  The Consort are performing next on Saturday July 2nd with poet Martyn Halsall, and you can fine more about that here.

Brampton Chamber Choir is based in Brampton, Cumbria, UK. We have around 25 singing members, and specialise in Early Music, particularly works from the Renaissance and Early Baroque. Usually we sing unaccompanied, but sometimes will perform with instrumentalists or chamber ensembles.

Our singers mainly come from the Brampton area, but we have members from Carlisle, Alston, Cockermouth and Whitehaven. We perform regularly in Lanercost Priory, Brampton Methodist Church and St Martin’s Church, Brampton. We have also sung in churches across North Cumbria, as well as Carlisle and Lancaster Cathedrals.
